Looking
down Bolton Street Bury
You
can see that the spire on the old Clarence hotel on the left has
disappeared,
but
the Clarence Hotel is still there.

This is of The Rock, Bury at the corner of Union
Street. The bank building is still there on the right of the picture, but
part of the other buildings have been rebuilt, although the original ones
are still there further to the left.

This shows The Rock in Bury, Lancashire. This section
used to be called Fleet Street,
The
main section is now pedestrianised.

Early
1900’s ? & 2004
Church
Street, off Bell Lane, Bury, showing St. Pauls Church.
All
the houses have been rebuilt, although the old building on the right, Is
still there, it has been rendered. St. Pauls church is all fenced off and
sadly has been boarded up. In June of this year 2004, there was a bad fire
at the derelict church, this was caused by youths throwing lighted objects
into the building.

Here we have the Pack Horse Hotel and The Staff
of Life pub, both Situated at Parkhills, Manchester Road, Bury, both still
there and open.

is the 'Hare & Hounds' public house at Holcombe Brook, just north of
Bury.
