Not very comprehensive at the moment. You need to do some serious re-organising of the site for serious genealogists to organise into a major database and web board similar to genes connected but specifically for Ward family members. Organising by Country, state, county etc would be a start. |

What a surprise to see a photo of your father. I can recall he stayed for some weeks with my grandparents Daniel and Gertrude Lea in Hayes Middx. I think he worked at EMI in Hayes and later was Manager of a Electric shop in Coldharbour Lane in Hayes. |

This is a wonderful site, gets all my praise. How I wish I could find my ancestors grave at Rowlands. Sad to say it is so over grown. I found it so interesting and recognised many of the surnames from my childhood. Some very good friends took me to visit 4 years ago and I found so little changed since I left the village at age 15 in 1924 to go to Bury High. Maybe one day we will return to see the new church. We enjoyed seeing the children playing in my old schoolyard. Thank you for an hour of happy memories. |
