There is also a great site where you can view many photos of the past,
it has been set up by the Bury Museum + Archives Department.
Bury Image Bank is a comprehensive image library containing a
local history and archives database, showcasing streets and
buildings from c.1850 to the present day. Images are being added on
a regular basis and increasingly show people and organisations from
across the Borough.
The database is free to search and for personal non-commercial use,
I have placed a link here to the site. The site does have many
photos of Bury and I am sure that you will spend some enjoyable
times viewing the great photos of the past.
