George B. Ward STANLEY ? George Benjamin Ward, 72, 118 Stanfield Drive, died Dec. 28, 1999, at home. He was a native of Gaston County, son of the late James Benjamin and Eocia Schronce Ward, brother of the late Vernon and Marvin Ward, Marine veteran of Korean Conflict, retired truck driver with Weyhauser, Charlotte. SURVIVORS: Wife, Virginia Mitchem Ward; sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin and Teresa Ward, the home, Neal and Sue Brock, China Grove; sister, Edith Costner, Mount Holly; brothers, Ralph and Clarence Ward, Belmont, Lawrence Ward, Mount Holly; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild FUNERAL: 2 p.m. today, E.F. Drum Funeral Home, Lincolnton, Chaplain Barry Morris ENTOMBMENT: Hillcrest Gardens Mausoleum VISITATION: One hour before service, funeral home MEMORIALS: Hospice of Gaston County, P.O.
